I cannot believe that October is already upon us and that the holidays are already over. I feel like time is flying by which means that it is time to announce our upcoming events!
Our first event in October will be apple picking at Bishop's Orchards from 2-4 on October 13! Bishop's is located at 1355 Boston Post Road in Guilford. Follow the signs to the Pick Your Own Apples Orchard and we will meet by the big white sign describing the available apples and the pavilion. Parents are encouraged to attend and let me know if anyone needs a carpool! I want to get an idea of how many people are coming, so send me a quick email by Thursday October 10th to let me know if you are coming and how many. The event itself will be free (unless you want to buy some apples!) but we are requesting that every student bring at least one canned food item to be donated to the Downtown Evening Soup Kitchen.
Regionally, we are getting ready for a crazy day at Flight Trampoline Park in New Britain. The event will run from 2-4 on October 20th. This is a regional event, so if you are interested in going, please make sure to get your membership form in!
