Good news -- the forecast is calling for a clear day and 75 degrees for Sunday! That's perfect for a KADIMA BEACH PARTY, and it just so happens that we've got one planned!
Our END-OF-YEAR BEACH PARTY will be this Sunday, June 9, 11:00-3:00 at Lighthouse Point Park in New Haven.
For those who have never been to Lighthouse Point Park, here are just seven things you'd be missing on Sunday:
(1) A beautiful lighthouse
(2) An antique carousel
(3) An amazing splash bad
(4) Connecticut's majestic shoreline
(5) Shells for collecting, sand for building, and rocks for climbing
(6) The bright, shining sun
(7) Good friends and fun!
So pack a picnic, bring your sunscreen and towel, and come have some fun with BEKI-BJ Kadima! All 5th-8th graders, as well as the 4th graders (our up-and-coming Kadimaniks) and the USYers, and their families are welcome!
Please RSVP by Friday so I know how many to expect. And feel free to contact me with any questions or issues.
Lastly, please note that parking at Lighthouse Point Park is free for New Haven residents with valid car registration (indicating residency). For all others, there is a parking fee. If you'd like to try to arrange carpools to avoid the parking fee, please let me know.
