Actually, it's more than a BEKI-BJ Kadima event -- this is a Hanefesh event. For those who don't know, Hanefesh is our regional organization, bringing together Kadimaniks from all over Connecticut and Western Mass. So this is a great opportunity to make some new friends, learn about what others are up to around New England, and enjoy the benefits of this (otherwise brutal) winter weather.
And, if last year was any indicator, it'll be a ton of fun!
The event is being held at the Woodbury Ski Area. The registration form and waiver must be sent to Wendy Rubin, our regional advisor, and received by no later Friday, Feb. 8. All regional Hanefesh events are for Kadima members only, so if you haven't signed up, check out our Membership page.
Also, thanks to all who helped bake brownies last Sunday for the Youth Commission's Super Bowl Sunday Deli Box Sale Fundraiser. And special thanks to Jay Hochman and Sherri Sosensky for their assistance. And extra special thanks to our kitchen guru, Darryl Kuperstock, for organizing the event and leading us in the culinary venture.
Lastly, we've tentatively scheduled our Kadima Purim Party for the night of Saturday, Feb. 16. Several families have indicated that they won't be able to make it then, since it's the start of school vacation. I'm currently looking into other potential dates and will keep you posted.
