BEKI Walkathon Sunday November 21st to Benefit JFS

BEKI is organizing a Walkathon to benefit Jewish Family Service, and wants you to join! Sunday 11/21, from 10 am to noon. This is not an official Kadima event, but we are encouraging our members to sign up and get sponsors. People can form teams - here are some team name suggestions from Sarah: "Team AWESOME," "Team We Love Walking," and "Team We're Gonna Win!" :)

Those who participate will walk around the BEKI lot, representing the experience of homeless people waiting in the cold for their free meal. BEKI is encouraging everyone, though, to have FUN with this event - and feel free to bring instruments and music.

Flyers are available at the BEKI office. Checks and sponsors can be mailed in advance, and will also be accepted on the day of the event. Checks should be made out to either "Jewish Family Service" - or "BEKI," with "JFS" on the bottom line.
